I started learning how to podcast yesterday. It really put me out of my comfort zone. I rented a space and tried to produce an episode. I had to rent it by the hour so I spent time learning the equipment (I had read about it online and watched videos beforehand) and tried recording.
It wasn’t great but I’m going to do it again in May and prepare five or so scripts to record. I am going to make myself produce 1x per week but I need to get 4 – 6 recorded before I launch.
What to Do
I realize how lucky I am that I have the luxury of choice. I’ve been fortunate that I worked my butt off for most of my life giving me options.
Giving this lots of thought, I know I should:
- Keep expanding Website One with new content
- Start a podcast for Website One
- Pay to fix technical issues with Website Two
- Start removing YMYL claims (your money your life claims; health advice, moneymaking advice, etc.) from the content on Website One and Website Two
- Improve the content by making it more “helpful” for the reader for Website Two
What I’d rather do:
- Be a personal clothing shopper for people who don’t dress to flatter themselves
- Get confidence to start a Youtube channel about something
- Allow my mind to let me walk away from these sites
- Get a part time job
- Resell on Ebay, Depop, and Poshmark
Shoot… what will I do? I still don’t know.
